The Short Period sensor contains up to 3 high sensitivity, self-generating velocity detectors with extremely low natural frequencies. It is an excellent choice for detecting seismic activity for structural analysis, geologic hazards, vibration isolation, etc. Seismometers are available in 1.0 and 2.0 Hz natural frequencies, tri-axial as well as vertical or horizontal oriented models.

Sensitivities range from 3.0 to 15.0 V/in/sec depending on coil configurations. A weather resistant cover (w/level bubble), calibration coil and adjustable leg bases are available. A vernier spring adjustment is included.test
